Oh how I love to take a bite of a sweet fruit.Â
When it runs down my armÂ
As if making its way to becomingÂ
Me.Â
If I could live off of just fruitÂ
Maybe I would.Â
I know that some people do try.Â
Maybe they too crave the sweet
And soul satisfyingÂ
Crunch of a crisp apple.Â
The tender bite of a juicy pear.
The sour chew of a summer orange.Â
The bursting bubble of a fresh grape.Â
One day I would love toÂ
Grow a garden
That is filled with abundant fruit trees.
Maybe it is thenÂ
That life will beÂ
Filled with nothing but sweet.Â
And I will becomeÂ
The fruits of my labor.
All that I have grown.Â
